How to scroll a web page vertically and automatically?

With Easy Multi Display, you can show a web page on your video wall and scroll it vertically, automatically, without any action from the operator. Ideal for presenting a news feed, a dashboard or a social media page that updates continuously.

How automatic scrolling works

The goal is simple: display a web page on your control screen and let it scroll from top to bottom on its own, in a loop. The operator has nothing to do, the information stays visible and alive on the screen.

The setting always depends on two parameters: the resolution of your screens and the web page you want to display. Every site displays differently, so you sometimes need to adjust the zoom and the speed to get a sharp and readable result.

Example of a two-zone configuration

In this example, the screen is split into two zones, each showing a different web page.

Zone 1 (on the left)

• Address (URL): the page to display, for example a feed on a social network.
• Zoom level: 2

Zone 2 (on the right)

• Address (URL): a second web page, shown in parallel.
• Zoom level: 2

The zoom level lets you enlarge the page content so it stays readable from a distance, even for an operator standing several metres from the video wall.

Adapt the setting to your screens

There is no universal setting: the configuration changes according to the resolution of your screens and the sites you want to display. Take the time to adjust the zoom and the scrolling speed until you get a comfortable display:

• Increase the zoom if the text is too small.
• Reduce the zoom if the page overflows or if columns disappear.
• Adapt the scrolling speed so the content stays readable without scrolling too fast.
