How to control the video wall from a networked PC?
Easy Multi Display lets you separate the PC that controls from the one that displays. The control PC (PC Control) sends the commands, and the PC connected to the video wall (PC Wall) handles the display. Both communicate over your local network. Here is how to link them step by step.
Default configuration
On first launch, the software displays the network settings needed to control the video wall. You will enter this information on both PCs (control and wall) so that they talk to each other.
Step 1 - Share the “setting” folder on the network
On the PC connected to the video wall (PC Wall), share the “setting” folder on the network. This folder is usually located here:
C:\program\Easymultidisplay\This share is essential: it is how the control PC accesses the wall’s scenarios and settings.
Step 2 - Configure both PCs
Enter the same network information on each of the two machines.
On the control PC (PC Control)
- Keep the default UDP port provided: 1234
- Enter the IP address of the PC Wall (example: 192.168.0.34)
- Provide the network path of the “setting” folder shared in step 1
On the PC connected to the wall (PC Wall)
- Keep the default UDP port provided: 1234
- Enter the IP address of the PC Wall (example: 192.168.0.34)

Step 3 - Start the control
Once the configuration is in place on both machines:
- Restart Drag&Drop on the control PC
- Launch the EMDWall.exe file on the PC connected to the video wall
The control PC now controls the wall remotely over the network. Commands sent from Drag&Drop apply immediately on the display.
Troubleshooting
If the wall does not respond, check these points:
- The IP address of the PC Wall is correct and identical on both machines
- UDP port 1234 is not blocked by the Windows firewall
- The “setting” folder is properly shared and accessible from the control PC
- Both PCs are on the same local network
